The hotel boasts stunning historic architecture. I loved the vibrant atmosphere, especially in the lobby where the piano bar adds a unique touch. The staff greeted me warmly, enhancing the overall experience. However, I faced some issues with cleanliness. My room had an old musty smell, and I noticed dust in various corners. A small white pill on the floor and a stain on the bedspread didn't add to the comfort. Although the bathroom looked clean, it disrupted the feeling of a cozy stay. Also, I felt the valet parking cost was excessive, which made me rethink my options. Despite these drawbacks, the bar served good drinks, making it a pleasant spot to unwind. I'd consider staying again for the ambiance and location, but I hope they address these cleanliness concerns.

Our family had a fantastic time exploring the historic hotel. The kids loved visiting nearby Bricktown for charming restaurants and catching a movie before heading to a Thunder game. The wide hallways and spacious rooms made our stay comfortable.
In my wife’s opinion, the front desk staff could be friendlier to families.

Had a great time with friends at this hotel. The pool area was awesome to relax in after exploring the nearby Chesapeake Energy Arena and Bricktown. The bar was a hit with everyone, and the rooms were comfy. Be prepared for some valet fees, though, as it can be pricey. Overall, a fun stay!
However, we had an issue with the front desk staff when they wouldn’t accommodate us to change our reservation date. They had availability but refused to help, which was disappointing for loyal members like us.

The Skirvin is a beautifully historic hotel with an excellent downtown location near the bombing memorial and Bricktown. While the lobby's elegance impressed me, the room's worn bedding was a letdown. However, service was exceptional, especially from the friendly staff who ensured a pleasant stay.

Historical charm with modern amenities
I enjoyed the beautiful architecture and nostalgic vibe throughout my stay. The piano bar was a great spot to unwind in the evenings, adding to the overall charm of the experience. However, I found the parking fees to be rather steep, which detracted from the convenience.

missingWrote a review on 25 Febhistoric architecturepiano barexpensive parking
Historic architecture, with rich details around the lobby and rooms, gives you a classic vibe. The piano bar features live entertainment, creating an inviting atmosphere for unwinding after a long day.
Valet parking hit the wallet hard at $30 a day, which I found steep. Room lacked a mini-fridge, and I ended up dealing with the disappointment of no complimentary water—$2.50 for a bottle felt like a stretch. The area surrounding the hotel is pretty sterile—long walks needed to find affordable eats and shops, which isn’t ideal after a tiring day.
